Here are 3 healthy items that you can put in your shopping cart this weekend -
Banana – tasty and popular, it’s available all round the year. Good for quick energy, also rich in vitamin B6, potassium and magnesium.
Flaxseed powder – goes well with anything because it’s almost tasteless. A great source of omega 3 fats, it also contains good amounts of phosphorus, magnesium and fiber.
Skimmed curd – a vital part of an Indian meal which most of us relish. Proteins and calcium are it’s nutritional highlights.
You can either eat each of them separately or blenderize all 3 to make a delicious smoothie.
